A Note from The Virtual Wall

On 17 Aug 1969 an A Company personnel carrier detonated a mine about three kilometers northwest of Cu Chi Base Camp, wounding five men and destroying the APC. One of the wounded soldiers, Ronald Panno, died later that day of his wounds.
