20 Oct 2007 My friend, I remember that day that you and the others were killed on May 7, 1968. It seems as though it was yesterday when we were conversing about home during a short patrol break. Who was to know that I would be the one to make it home? Only God knows why! Vietnam was hell and that we will carry with us until we die. Well, friend, I salute you all who gave it all for our country. It is called the ultimate sacrifice. Your country has not forgotten you.
