It has been over 30 years now since I was notified that Frank was killed in action, yet it seems like only yesterday, perhaps because I have thought about him so often during that time.

When I close my eyes, I can still envision his laugh, his smile and his love of life. Frank was an excellent student and athlete and the type of friend that comes along only once or twice in a lifetime.

Frank believed in his country and everything it stood for and his sacrifice will always be remembered.

May God take care of him until we meet again.

Best regards,
Bill Mahon
