Michael was a friend for only a short time in my life but we seemed to connect right from the first instant. We shared pre-basic at Schofield Barrracks and basic training at Fort Ord in California. Our time in this life was short but seemed like more than a lifetime. Me kealoha pumehana ko'u pilialoha. I still remember.
