David was like Ralph and Jack . All three of them were great guys and would help anyone in need. David was the first of the three to die. I remember going to the funeral home and our hearts were broken for the family. Then the next month our hearts were broken because of Ralph. The Corbin and London communities lost three of their best men that were put on this earth. I remember something Ralph said to us the day he left for Vietnam. Dad made a statement about Canada ... Ralph looked up at us and said
All three men felt that way ... I know, because I knew them very well. Ralph, Jack and David will live on in our hearts and through our children, because I made sure they knew about all three men from Laurel Country. You could look this world over and not find three young men as good as these three. May God watch over their families and the Vietnam soldiers that are still living today.
