I am in contact with your friends Dave and Randy. They were with you when you were killed. Dave has told me what happened. Both Dave and Randy fondly remember you.
You and I share a last name. I never knew you but I know that I will NEVER FORGET YOU!
01 Aug 2002 Dear Bruce, You paid the ultimate sacrifice for your country 35 years ago today. As I 'talk' to you each day I see that wonderful, broad smile of yours. I also hear 'Groovin' by The Rascals in my mind each day. It was your favorite song. It will forever be a link to you. You are remembered with respect and love. I feel as if you were my 'brother'. I know you had a part in what happened to me when The Moving Wall visited my city. I only pray that some day I understand 'why?'
