Your presence in Viet Nam with me was very supportive and the loss very hurtful.
Your friend forever, |
I was in Washington D.C. this weekend and visited the Vietnam Memorial. I felt very strongly that I wanted to honor one of these incredible men and women so I picked Charles Earl Melton from Mississippi. I picked him because my father, who passed away in 1998 and also served in Vietnam, was named Charles Melton. He too was from Mississippi. So, Charles Earl Melton, thank you for your service and your incredible sacrifice! I'm so sorry you lost your life at such a young age; this makes me incredibly sad. I would love to know more about you so anyone reading this who knew Charles, please contact me at sealver@aol.com My name is Tricia. Thank you!
