Kenny and I served together at Camp Lejune before he was sent to Vietnam and I was sent to Laos.

Kenny was from Brooklyn, we called him 'Kenny The Kid'. I made several 'weekend' trips home with him. He loved his Camels and a cold beer!

I miss him even today, 40 years after his death. He and I got USMC tattoos together in Vieques, Puerto Rico; after we got the tattoo, we had no money left and had to spend the next 3 days on the ship.

I visit him at The Wall every time I go to Washington; can't ever do it without tears in my eyes.
