A Note from The Virtual WallAccording to the 3rd MP Battalion Command Chronology for March 1969, Corporal Marshall was a scout dog handler. After recovering from a wound on 01 March 1968 he and his dog were assigned to India 2/7 Marines. On 29 March, while returning from a night ambush patrol Corporal Marshall was shot and killed by a perimeter guard. He is buried in Site 1301, Section 51, of the Arlington National Cemetery. |
