19 May 2003 I served with Steve. He gave up his life so his friend Pulido could live. He was a true soldier and friend. He willingly took his friend's place and entered the bunker. 26 Feb 2006 I was with Steve when he was killed. He volunteered to go into a tunnel to pull out dead enemy. They were waiting. He was very brave. I was Steve's body escort to his grave in Huntington Beach. Not a day goes by that I don't think of him and the sacrifice he made. From his best friend, Marshall Knight 1canyon@msn.com
