A Note from The Virtual Wall

On 14 May 1969 a booby-trapped Claymore mine killed two men about 10 kilometers west-southwest of the Oasis Airfield in Pleiku Province: SSG James C. Kopseng and SP4 David B. Schachner, 40th Scout Dog Platoon, from Charlotte, North Carolina.
