Tom was my co-pilot in B-52's before his Vietnam service as a Forward Air Controller (FAC) in 0-2s. He spoke with a thick New York accent but was warm and caring. He was a friend as well as a comrade. He answered his nation's call voluntarily and is dearly missed.
