4 Apr 2002 I thank Spirit for every beloved memory of you. For my brother Ivan Jones, who was killed in Quang Nam 1/26/1969. I am seeking anyone who may have information on how Ivan died. I would like to know the truth of his death. PLEASE. 01 Jul 2003 Searching for anyone who may have known my brother Ivan when he was in Vietnam. I was told 3 different stories of how he died. Now the unit logs show that he was sent to a hospital for unknown reasons in Danang and while there was shot and died of his gunshot wounds. PLEASE HELP. I WANT THE TRUTH OF HIS DEATH. I love my brother and thank Spirit for every beloved memory and want to honor him by finding out the truth of his death. 7 May 2005 Am seeking Robert G. Dalton who received the Navy Cross and was with Ivan when he was shot. I have, since my last posting, learned he died not in a hospital but in camp. Also with him was William Carder. Please, I just want to speak with the men who were with him when he died. 01 Aug 2003 Ivan W. Jones was a casualty of war, an unfortunate victim of an accidental shooting. On January 18th, while in the field, he was wounded by an accidental discharge from a pistol at the hand of another individual. His wounds were severe, extremely so, and despite valiant efforts to save his life at the Naval Hospital DaNang, he eventually succumbed to the injuries.
