It is an honor to learn more about you. How you treated others, and took care of your mother, and siblings; the way they respect you even today as if you were still physically here watching out for them.
I married your niece, who is just a wonderful young woman. I know that you never physically met her, but she loves you the way that the rest of the family does, because you live on in their hearts and memories. I can only hope to know more about you, and I strive to become as looked up to as you are. I am not too good with words, nor with memorials. Thank you and I am sorry for what you had to do. But to you I salute, from one soldier to another! |
