A Note from The Virtual WallOn 30 March 1969 the 1st Squadron, 4th Cavalry engaged a North Vietnamese Army force in the Michelin Rubber Plantation about 7 miles northeast of Dau Tieng. Contact was broken after two hours of fighting which left 38 NVA troops and 11 US soldiers dead:
