14 Nov 2002 Mark died on Feb 22,1970, as the result of hostile fire on his helicopter in Kien Hoa, South Vietnam. He had less than a month to go before rotating back to the States. A Note from The Virtual Wall Sergeant Jenewein was shot while flying as a door gunner on a combat assault mission on 17 Feb 1970.
