John Allen Heika was my great uncle. Or second uncle, whichever you prefer. I found this memorial while researching for a 'family tree' project in my elective class. I've never met him, but I have indeed heard many great stories. My family called him "Fats". I am now in the sixth grade. My entire family was suprised when I told them I found this. Whoever entered this webpage and memorial, thank you. You've brought back memories to my grandmother, "Fats"'s sister, and all of my family.
May he rest in peace.

To my brother, John Heika - you are are missed by all. I visit you and the family as often as I can. You are always in our hearts. God bless you.
From your brother and sister,
William Heika |
