The database page for Terrence Patrick Ryan
Terry was a good friend. I knew him for about two years. After his death, my younger sister named her daughter in memory of Terry. She is now Terry Patricia Ryan Breunig. She has 4 children and one of the boys has been named after him also, Ryan Andrew Michael Tobin. One might say what is good in life or death keeps going around for those children are a compliment to his short life.

A Note from The Virtual WallAviation is an inherently dangerous occupation, and carrier aviation is even more so. Lieutenant Ryan and his Radar Intercept Officer launched from USS RANGER in F-4J BuNo 155750 - and went into the water shortly thereafter. Although the RIO survived the incident, LT Ryan did not.LT Ryan attended Notre Dame where he was a letterman in swimming and a member of the Naval ROTC. He earned a BA in 1965 and a BS in Aero-Engineering from the University of Notre Dame in 1966 before going on active duty. |
