First Sergeant Rounseville led us into combat for the first time. He saved my life three times just by doing his job. I didn't know him as a friend, only as a leader. I never got to thank him for helping me come home. If there is anyone alive who loved him, I hope they will remember that he died taking care of his men. He did not die for nothing.

I thank my father and all his brothers for everything they have given as well as taught me and my family through their selfless acts of courage and patriotism.
Thank you all. |
I did not know him, only of him.
