21 Jul 2005 First Sergeant Rounseville led us into combat for the first time. He saved my life three times just by doing his job. I didn't know him as a friend, only as a leader. I never got to thank him for helping me come home. If there is anyone alive who loved him, I hope they will remember that he died taking care of his men. He did not die for nothing. De Mello, El Cerrito, CA SP4 Thomas Norton, New York, NY SP4 Charles E. Novel, Dyersburg, TN SP4 Benjamin J. Terejko, Solvay, NY SP4 Donald S. Waite, Omaha, NE First Sergeant Rounseville, recipient of the Silver Star and two Bronze Star medals, was buried on 23 Feb 1968 in Plot G 7836-A, Marietta National Cemetery, Marietta, Georgia.
