I grew up with Peter ... he was a family member who lived next door. He was very shy but had a lot of self-discipline. He loved football and hated losing. He played on the high school football team at Saint Edwards in Austin, Texas. He was very smart and hard working and grew up too fast. He was a movie enthusist and would come back after the movies and give an almost word-for-word description of the whole movie. After listening to him you felt you had gone with him. He was a great storyteller. His favorite actress was Jane Russell. He loved Westerns. His favorite movie was "The Longest Day". I will always remember his favorite poem -

"A coward dies many times before his death,
the valiant never taste of death but once."

The point-of-contact for this memorial is
his nephew,
Charles Corona
