This person died for our right to be free and to up hold that freedom to the best of his ability and gave of himself in the service of our country. He ended up saving a person the day he died - August 17, 1967 - even at the risk of his own life and then going back to save PFC Keith Warren Livermore from Garrison, NY, age 19, but was mortally wounded by a sniper. He is my hero. |
The point-of-contact for this memorial is his nephew, William Robert Evans william89000@yahoo.com 12 Nov 2005 |
