11 August 2002 On July 18, 1966, at the age of 19 John Thomas Kyser perished in the service of our country in Quang Tri Province, South Vietnam. 15 Jun 2004 PFC Kyser's name is engraved on a plaque which hangs in the Company command post of Combat Engineer Company, Combat Assault Battalion, 3d Marine Division on Camp Schwab, Okinawa, Japan.
