12 Mar 2004 I would just like to say "Thank you" to all the brave men and women who served in the war! I am very grateful to live in a country where men and women risk their own lives to let us live in peace; I am so very grateful for every one of these men and women. It took a lot of bravery to walk into the lines of war. Thank you all very much for risking your lives to let the people of the United States live in peace, and to free the other countries that we went to war with. Thank you all very much! I wish I would have got to meet and get to know Kenny. I have heard so many wonderful stories about him. I think of how he risked his life to help bring our country to peace. I just wish that I would have gotten to meet him. Kenny was a real hero; a hero in every way, he was a father, husband, and a Staff Sergeant! Kenny was a hero. I am going to Washington D.C. this year on a class trip. I am really looking forward to going to the Vietnam Wall and see all those who gave up their lives to protect ours. I am planning to write a paper and set it by the panel that his name is on. Our 8th grade class is also giving flowers to the soldiers who died in the war from our state. I am really excited about this trip. Thank you to all the soldiers out there! Thank you all so much! It takes much bravery to do what all you men and women do for our country, thank you!!! 19 Jan 2007 Kenny was my first cousin and was just a few months younger than I. Lindsay is so very right - he will never be forgotten and will be in our hearts forever.
