One very hot afternoon Richard taught a wet behind the ears kid the meaning of survival and what it took to achieve it. Because he did he gave the kid the tools to survive and thrive in Nam and life after Nam. THANKS my friend for giving me my life before you gave yours. Semper Fidelis

It has always been hard for me put how I feel, but I can say this: I remember in elementary school we would walk home together and tap pennies on the train tracks. Then I moved ... but we met back up in Vietnam. I can still feel the pain when I got the news you passed. I still wear your bracelet. So, my brother, til the next time we see each other - hold the rope. Semper Fi, Bro!
