Emo
You red-headed go-getter
"I'm gonna get it or die trying"
Long after our common sense has all been spent we'll remember you.

Tom Emerson was my best friend starting in Junior High School. We did everything together until he went off to West Point. "Emo", as we called him, was bigger than life, loved and respected by all who knew him. He was destined to greatness only to have his life ended doing the thing he had been trained to do, serving and fighting for his country. Every time I think about Tom, I can't keep my eyes from tearing up. But then I think about all the fun times we had together and I know this is how he would want us to remember him - still, we can't help but miss you Tom Emerson! I welcome any response or input from those who knew him at West Point or served with him in Viet Nam - Jim Hammack
