Fondly remembering happy days together as Marine Options in the NROTC Unit at the University of Virginia. Thank you for all you did for all of us.
Semper Fidelis, |
Dave was not only a leader in the Marine Corps but also a leader in our Fraternity serving as President of Phi Kappa Psi at the University of Virginia. Dave and I shared another common bond. Dave lived in Bellefonte and my father's family was from Bellefonte. I can remember the shock when I learned of Dave's death. In 1969 I carried his name and a candle in an event in Washington D.C. honoring fallen brothers in the Vietnam War. I visited Saigon in 2003 and thought of Dave and how much I miss him.
