A Note from The Virtual Wall

SGT Daniel J. Contestabile was killed during a rocket attack on the Chu Lai complex on 05 May 1968. He is the only known serviceman who was killed during that particular attack. The photo, provided by his granddaughter, probably was taken in the early 1960s.
