It's been many years now since we served together, Chuck, but there isn't a day that goes by that I don't think of you. Buddies forever.

Chuck, I miss you and remember the times we pulled guard duty and radio watch together. You and I came to A Company on the same day and pulled perimeter duty back at Pleiku togehter. What a mess that was, we were glad to get out into the field. I was at NCO school when you were killed and did not learn of it until I returned to the unit. I couldn't believe it but knew how you were hit and that does not surprise me. You were always there for me and all of us guys. You will always be with me and hopefully someday we will walk the same trail again. Take care, buddy.
