5 Jun 2004 Ray and I grew up together. He lived down the street from me with his sister Donna. His cousin Charlie and Sonia also lived on the same block. Had a terrible crush on him, and his cousin, when I was a kid. After he died his family seem to disappear from my life and have no idea where anyone is. I went to his funeral and was sure he was buried in the only Catholic Cemetery in the Valley. Every Memorial Day and holiday I think of him and would love to go to his grave and leave flowers. I have called there and other cemeteries around to see if he is buried there and find no records. I was so young and didn't really understand what was going on. I have pictures of him at my birthday parties when we were kids. His family was devastated. His Dad and Uncle were both in WWII and were in Italy. They met two women (Ray's mother and her sister) who were Italian, married them and brought them to the U.S. If anyone remembers him and might have information that I could use to find him, I would really appreciate it. I went to the Wall for the first time in 1995 for the dedication of the Korean War Memorial. It broke my heart to see Ray's name and all the others who were so young. I am so proud to be an American and thank every man that has died for my freedom.
