Cpl Richard Carter was a fellow Marine in the same company and we last saw each other while patrolling an area called the "Mud Flats" in the area of Hoi An, Vietnam. After 41 years of searching the Wall I can now say farewell but not to be forgotten. Rest in Peace, my fellow Marine, for your duties will not be unappreciated.
