The database page for Linwood Charles Carter, Jr
Sir, You were on this earth for such a short time when you were cut off still in your prime. I often think and remember you, and all that you taught me that saw me through. I was only nineteen and perhaps naive, cause I never thought that you would leave. Ever since the day that you died in my arms and I cried for the medic with all alarm. I became a man on that day, and never more my innocence lay. In spite of it all I am so glad that God sent me you, the best friend I ever had. As Jesus said before he left "Greater love hath no man than this, that he lay down his life for a friend" You are and will always be my Friend.
