Just a little over thirty years ago and it still seems like yesterday.

09 June 2005 Almost 37 years have passed but it still seems like yesterday. I tried to keep my promise but I failed. I will take that to the grave with me. God bless you, John.

In a booth at Chris' Restaruant across the street from Tulsa Central High School, sat a group of kids. I was one of those kids, and another was John Burleson! One couldn't sit in that booth without appreciating his warm personality, great smile, and good looks! I consider myself fortunate to have spent those carefree days in his company! My heart goes out to his family, friends, and to his best friend, who lost so much on that dreadful day. I plan to make a scrapbook page for myself, in his memory. God Bless John, and God Bless you all!
