Kermit Edward Burkey I didn't know you personally but you were SP4 Robert George Reynold's friend. You both went to Heaven on the same day, 11 June 1967 in Pleiku. I never knew the circumstances behind your deaths. I can only gather that you and Bob were buddies. I just felt that you needed to be recognized on The Virtual Wall just as the many other heroes from that tragic time in our lives. Know that we are proud of your service and the world lost some wonderful friends and loved ones. I hope one day to meet you as we reunite in another time and space. |
