Larry was my favorite Uncle. We fished and hunted together - he was the one who taught me how to shoot. We also did a lot of camping.

I know he believed in what he was doing in Viet Nam by his letters. In one of his letters he told about how he gave his food away to the hungry children who got to know him. I also know he saw a lot of fighting according to his letters. Larry died at Cu Chi, Jan 1968 during the Tet Offensive. He is missed by his family and friends very much.

From his nephew.
