The database page for Tommy Ray Bowman
Tommy Ray Bowman was my beloved cousin. Both our families lived in the same house in Detroit when the two of us were born just 4 months apart. So when Tommy was being sent home my father, Richard George, who was a Lieutenant Colonel in the Air Force in 1968, accompanied his body home. The last time I saw Tommy was when we were walking down the street, Kerchival at Lakeview, in Detroit ... and I will never forget his amazing, infectious smile. You are greatly missed Tommy, but will never be forgotten.
Love, Linda George Barber P.S. I just got back from Washington D.C. where I visited the Viet Nam Memorial Wall and traced Tommy's name ... it was an incredibly moving experience. Dawn M. Bowman is looking for anyone who served with Tommy in the Quang Duc Province of VietNam, Delta Company, 2nd Battalion, 35th Infantry ... please write to lindyb711@aol.com |
