We who knew themWe who knew them loved them while on this earth they trodBut we know that they are happy in the presence of our God The bitter tears of broken hearts they have left behind to mourn Will strive the more to meet them on that bright and glorious morn When God shall call his dear ones across the great divide, He will be there to greet them when they reach the other side.

Although the aircraft was not brought down, WO Bodell was badly wounded; by the time WO Gwinn landed at the Special Forces camp at Rach Gia WO Bodell had died. |
