James William Blake,
Gone but never forgotten,
nor will you ever be.

Your family misses you so much, just like all the families of those names engraved in that beautiful black granite. We have been without you for nearly 37 years as you have been without us.

I am so proud to have known a hero willing to go to such an uncertain place in the name of freedom.

As another Memorial Day passes I am reminded of the many lives have been lost in the name of freedom, just as I am reminded of what freedom means. Free to pray to God, or not. Free to voice opinons without fear. Free with personal liberties allowing us to choose where, what and when.

I am, above all, reminded to never take freedom for granted. I know freedom is not "free"

This memorial is for my Beloved Brother who paid the ultimate price.

Your little sister,
Susan
