My name is Anthony V. DiGiorgi. Bo and I graduated from OCS, Infantry, Fort Benning, Georgia, on 2 May 68. During the last several weeks of that six-month course, I was the Student Company Commander and Bo was my Student Executive Officer. Each Student Officer combined in running the Company, and it was Bo who mapped out in advance the required responsibilities of the Company for the day and the next. We worked well together, and he was my friend. In constant contact with him during that time, I came to know how much a good and decent man and Officer he was. After the graduation ceremonies, we shook hands and wished each other luck for the future. We knew our future assignments would take us most probably to RVN, and we accepted it. I was fortunate to have survived my tour... I only wish Bo had too. OK, Bo: you rest easy. Your friend, Tony.
