I'm not 100% sure that this is the Carl Adkins that I knew as a young boy growing up in Tulsa, but I strongly suspect that it is. The Carl that I knew attended Springdale Elementary School, Grover Cleveland Jr. Hi., and graduated from Tulsa Central. I knew him from about 1956 until we lost contact with each other in 1965. If anyone reading this knows whether or not this Carl is my old friend, could you please let me know. (His cousin's E-Maill address is no longer good.) My name is Don Davis and I am at MaryeD@aol.com. Whether or not this is the Carl that I knew, I certainly wish to express my condolences to to all his other friends and to his family members. Carl was a likable, friendly, charismatic young fellow with a ready smile on his face at all times. During the nine years or so that I knew him, I never heard him speak ill of anyone. He was my friend, and I still feel a deep loss after almost 40 years.
