The special supplement was issued in conjunction with the dedication of the Philadelphia Viet Nam Memorial. "Addison was drawn to the Marine Corps and told family and friends he was considering a military career when he dropped out of Thomas Edison High School in 1965 at the age of 17. The rifleman-gunner was assigned to Company F of the 2nd Battalion, 26th Marines, 3rd Marine Division. He died two days after Christmas 1967 at the Station Hospital at Da Nang, Viet Nam, of wounds he sustained in the hamlet of Phu Bai, Quang Tri Province. The 19-year-old lance corporal was survived by his parents, a brother and sister." SEMPER FIDELIS, MARINE!
